I love a good cocktail, and from slurpees to margaritas, I love a good frozen anything. Combine the two and you have a frozen artesian cocktail that is a concoction like no other.

I had heard rumblings of a frozen cocktail concept opening in the metro since last year-- and was excited to hear that Snow and Co., amid a few setbacks, had opened their doors in the Crossroads late this fall.

Snow is thankfully lacking in this winter's forecast, so we headed to the Crossroads to enjoy some frozen cocktails at their finest.

Kansas City dining made a name for itself in the New Year. Saveur, one of the nation's top culinary mags, proclaimed Kansas City as America's next great culinary destination for 2012.. and we couldn't agree more.

Kansas City Restaurant Week will delight foodies and culinary lovers alike metro-wide January 20-29th, 2012. It's a great way to support your local faves or try a new spot...all while helping a great cause.

The culinary event features over 100 participating restaurants all of whom will offer multiple-coursed prix-fixed menu's for lunch and dinner. A portions of meals purchased will go to Harvesters. From blueStem and JULIAN to the newly minted Mestizo by Aaron Sanchez and Justus Drugstore, we couldn't be more excited about this year's lineup.

All the World's a Fair this year at the YFA's annual Party Arty. Guests will enjoy an amazing evening at the beautiful Bloch Building that includes live music, cocktails and hors d'oeuvres...all while mingling among the museum's impressive collection.

The doors open at 8 p.m. and you won't want to miss a moment.
