Will Kansas City Vote Yes for Improvements and Rolling Roof?
Saturday March 25, 2006
Unless you've been hiding under a rock lately, you've probably heard all the hoopla surrounding the April 4th vote to pass a 3/8 cent sales tax for necessary stadium improvements to the Truman Sports Complex. Also adding to the commotion is the vote to put a rolling roof to go over both stadiums (which was SUPPOSED to be constructed when the stadiums were built, no less) which some feel will win KC a bid to the Superbowl. Will Jackson County vote yes and will the city implement necessary changes or will voters once again be disappointed with false promises? Check out Save our Stadiums for further information on Questions 1 and 2. Or, if you're just plain opposed to the whole thing, head to the Arrowhead and Kauffman Stadium Taxpayer Subsidy Opposition Rally, 7pm March 27th at the Plaza Library (49th and Main).
