Cinco de Mayo Events, Kansas City

Monday May 1, 2006
With one of the largest Hispanic and Latino populations in the Midwest, Kansas City has plenty of celebrating to do this Cinco de Mayo. If you're looking to immerse yourself in Hispanic culture, want to listen to some Tejano, or are looking for a great margarita and serious Mexican fare, Kansas City is the place to be on the 5th of May. Check out the Fiesta in the Heartland at Crown Center (Fiesta '06) for one of the largest Cinco de Mayo festivals in the Midwest, or go to the Azteca Cinco de Mayo Parade and Fiesta at Rosedale Park for a truly authentic Mexican celebration. Looking for a great enchilada and the perfect margarita? You can't go wrong by heading to Southwest Boulevard. Check out the About Kansas City Cinco de Mayo Guide for all there is to see, do, and eat this 5th of May.
