Great American BBQ Fest

Wednesday May 24, 2006
Start your Memorial Day Weekend off right by heading to the 2nd Annual Great American BBQ Fest, May 25th-27th at the Woodlands. Besides having live music and getting to taste some great BBQ (they have an awesome sampling tent)--they'll have 28 huge hot air balloons on display. If that's not enough, Kansas City's very own Ida McBeth kicks off the Fest with 'The Barbeque Blues' concert and silent auction event in which all proceeds go to the Fox 4 Love Fund. Admission is $10 for single entry on Friday and Saturday, a weekend pass is $15. Kids 12 and under get in free--call 913.422.9599 for info or visit the Great American BBQ Fest official site.
