American Idol's David Cook from Kansas City?

I'm not a big follower of American Idol, but I DO watch the local news and haven't seen much coverage of local standout David Cook who just happens to be from Blue Springs. David, 25, graduated from Blue Springs South High School and holds a degree in Graphic Design from Central Missouri State University. Last week he covered The Beatles 'Eleanor Rigby' and Simon predicted "If this remains a talent competition rather than a popularity contest, you could win the whole thing." According to Blogosphere chatter, it looks like Cook could win Season 7. Get voting KC....
