We went out of our way to celebrate Restaurant Week and dined at two well-respected restaurants.

Both times, we were disappointed with the “special meal” that was provided. The food seemed to be pre-prepared to excess (salad from the chiller, etc.). We rarely eat dessert, so the dessert included was really no bargain.

In all, I think we’ll ignore Restaurant Week in the future. Sorry to do that to Harvesters.

I really enjoy restaurant week. I get to go to restaurants that I can’t make it to as often as I’d like. One place that I know serves the exact same thing for restaurant week as they do everyday is J GILBERT’S!!! I go there for my birthday every year and for restaurant week. Same great food, same everything. Plus there are always new restaurants to try. The restaurants that wimp out on their restaurant week offerings are probably ones to avoid everyday. Why would they scrimp when so many new people to their restaurant are trying it out? That doesn’t make sense. I CAN’T WAIT FOR RESTAURANT WEEK!!!!!!
