About the Three Dog Bakery:
'In 1989, three dogs, two guys (KC natives Dan Dye and Mark Beckloff) and one 59¢ biscuit cutter joined forces to create Three Dog Bakery-the world's original bakery for dogs. Thanks to dog lovers everywhere, we've grown from a bare-bones tabletop beginning to one of the nation's leading producers of the best all-natural foods and treats for dogs.
Three Dog Bakery set the standard for producing ultra premium dog food and treats dedicated to the health and well-being of our furry friends. We select the best quality all natural ingredients to ensure that dogs are healthy and happy. We are committed to slow oven baking. When food is oven-baked it locks in the flavor and nutrients, which is the key to the success.'
About the Humane Society of Greater KC:
Founded in 1912, we are the oldest existing humane society in metropolitan Kansas City. We were originally called The Humane Society of Wyandotte County. Sarah Jacobs is credited with our founding, along with her sister Henrietta Jacobs and assistance from the Council of Clubs. In 1970, we changed our name to The Humane Society of Greater Kansas City and continue to this day to serve the entire metropolitan area.
Every day we save lives at our no-kill shelter, for 99 years, the Humane Society of Greater Kansas City has cared for pets in need -- those cast aside, forgotten, lost or sick.
