KC Symphony Presents 'Christmas Festival',
Helzberg Hall, Kauffman Center December 13th-16th

Kansas City's biggest holiday concert returns in 2012 for six performances. The Symphony and Symphony Chorus present the musical arrangements of favorite Christmas carols and songs of the season. They will also welcome guest singers and musicians for Christmas cheer. Order tickets online or call the Symphony Box Office at (816) 471-0400.

  • Santa's Gingerbread Village at Crown Center:
    Three locomotives travel through Santa's Gingerbread Village in the North Pole--all of which are created by the chefs at The Westin. You'll also see the reindeer stable, Santa's sleigh garage, the elves dorm, Santa's toy factory, Mr. & Mrs. Claus' home and much, much more. The Gingerbread Village is free and open during store hours. Find it on Level 1, by the Coterie.
  • Union Station Holiday Events:
    Union Station is packed with fun things to do throughout December. From writing letters to Santa and meeting Junie B. Jones and the Cat and the Hat to the Polar Express PJ Party, the Holiday Model Train Rail Road Exhibit, and taking a spin on the vintage Jones Mini-Train-you can spend a whole day of holiday at Union Station.
