Waterfire Kansas City

Waterfire

By , About.com Guide

Internationally acclaimed artist, Barnaby Evans brings his magical 'Waterfire' installation to the waters of Brush Creek, and is making a fourth appearance in 2009.

If you missed the first installation of Barnaby Evans' 'Waterfire' in 2007, see it again as it blends natures element on Brush Creek-- Saturday, October 24th. This amazing display of public art is both mesmerizing and relaxing as huge bonfires illuminate the waters of Brush Creek and the smell of hickory smoke fills the night air.

Sit or stroll the banks of the Country Club Plaza--and it should be a perfect night with the cool fall temperatures pouring in.
 Waterfire 2009
When: Saturday, October 24th
Where: Brush Creek, between Pennsylvania and JC Nichols Parkway
Time 6:30pmish-midnight
