Brookside St. Patrick's Day Warm-Up Parade :

An annual tradition of so many Kansas Citians, the annual Brookside St. Patrick's warm up parade occurs on the Saturday before St. Patrick's Day. A little more tame and family friendly than its big city counterpart, the Brookside Warm Up Parade kicks off the big day with floats, leprechauns o' plenty and a sea of green rolling throughout the Brookside neighborhood.

When is the St. Patrick's Day Warm Up Parade? :

When: Saturday, March 14th, 2009
Where: Brookside Neighborhood, 63rd and Wornall
Time: 2pm

Brookside Warm Up Parade Route:

The parade begins at 65th and Wornall, heads north to 63rd, continues east on 63rd to Main, South to Meyer and heads West to end on Brookside Blvd.

Guide Tip: Parking is scarce in Brookside, although there are parking lots in and around central Brookside on 63rd Street. Be prepared to park street side and walk to the parade route.
