If you haven't had a chance to see Longview Lake's 'Christmas in the Park', it's surely time to do so! A favorite holiday tradition of so many Kansas Citians, Christmas in the Park was named on About.com list of Top Holiday Things to Do in Kansas City. With over 300,000 glowing bulbs and 175 animated figures, you'll be amazed at the enchantment and wonder of it all. Christmas in the Park truly is a Winter Wonderland whether you're 2 or 92!

Hours:


Christmas in the Park kicks off with Christmas in the Sky-- a great event on the night before Thanksgiving.

Christmas in the Park Hours:
Sunday-Thursday: 5:30-10pm
Friday-Saturday: 5:30-11pm

Guide Tip: Be sure to have plenty of gas and plenty of time. Expect bumper to bumper or slow moving traffic--a weekend trip through the park could take a few hours.

Where is Christmas in the Park?:


Christmas in the Park is located in the Longview Campground at Longview Lake at I-470 and View High Drive. Follow the signs to enter the campground.

Christmas in the Park is free--however, donations for local charities are accepted at the end of the magical drive.

KUDL's Christmas in the Sky:

Christmas in the Sky kicks off the Christmas in the Park holiday season on the day before Thanksgiving. Gates open at 5pm and holiday stage show (6pm), followed by fireworks at 7:30. Christmas in the Park gates open at 8pm.
