Cinco de Mayo at Mestizo by Aarón Sánchez:
Thursday, May 3rd, and Friday, May 4th, the restaurant will have lunch specials available for indoor and outdoor dining.
Friday, May 4th:
Entertainment will be from 6-8 p.m. Live radio remote with 95.7 The Vibe, giveaways and cash cube. Latin guitarist and Flamenco dancer beginning at 7 p.m.
Cinco de Mayo:
9 a.m. – Mestizo opens for drinks
10 a.m. – Mestizo opens for food
Dining Option 1: Outside tented area. $10 wrist-band access before 5 p.m. $15 wrist-band access after 5 p.m. (Age 21 and over in evening). Entry fee includes unlimited access to tent and entertainment. With entry you will receive one ticket for a free Mestizo Margarita or two tacos. Sanchez is roasting whole pigs outdoors in wood boxes known as cajachinas. The outdoor menu will consist of roasted pork, steak and chicken tacos, chips and salsa and guacamole. Additional tickets are 4 for $10 and are redeemable for food and drink. No advance reservations, seating is first come, first served.
Dining Option 2: VIP Reserved Seating Area on Mestizo Rooftop. $25 advance reservation guarantees your seat. Guests will receive complimentary tres salsas and chips, guacamole, an assortment of appetizers and one Mestizo Margarita or Mexican beer.
Dining Option 3: Indoor or outdoor seating with full menu. Family-friendly interior seating with kid’s menu. No advance reservations, seating is first come, first served.
Cinco de Mayo Entertainment – Saturday, May 5::
10 a.m. – 1 p.m. : DJ in tent
2-5 p.m. : Mariachi band
7-10 p.m. : The Taxis – 80’s & 90’s
10:30 p.m. – 2:00 a.m. : DJ in tent
Mestizo will open for lunch at noon on Sunday, May 6, and the regular menu will be served. Indoor and outdoor seating will be available.
