Kearney, Missouri is most noted as the boyhood home and final resting place of America's most famed outlaw--Jesse James. On the 3rd weekend of September, Kearney holds it's annual Jesse James Festival drawing thousands to the town located just north of Kansas City. The Jesse James Festival is in its 37th year in 2007 and promises fun for the whole family.

When, Where:


The Jesse James Festival will be held September 7-9, 11, 13-16 in Kearney, Missouri. The Festival boats live entertainment, carnival, dances, parade, rodeo, BBQ Cook-off, arts & crafts and a million other fun family filled events.

The event is held at the Jesse James Festival Grounds, just north of Kearney on Highway 33.
