RiverfestKansas City Riverfest : Kansas City Riverfest marks the beginning of the 4th of July weekend and kicks off on June 29th and 30th. Held in Berkley Riverfront Park,
this annual event not only has one of the best Fireworks displays in the Kansas City Metro that is
choreographed to live music, but plenty of great entertainment for the whole family. In 2007, KC Riverfest introduces it's very own Brewfest
complete with tastings. Sounds like a great start to the holiday if you ask me. Brewfest : Riverfest introduces Brewfest in 2007--a craft Microbrew Fest featuring local faves. The Fest kicks off at 4pm with tastings, entertainment and enough hops to get your holiday started off correctly.
Brewfest Brews:
Fireworks Spectacular: Fireworks at Riverfest are in fact, spectacular and are in my opinion, the longest running fireworks display in the metro. Choreographed to live music--they start at 10 pm June 30th. Tickets, Parking and Other Info: Cost: Ticket prices are $5 on Friday and Saturday, children 12 and under are free. Parking: Berkley Park does not lend to many parking spaces, so you may have to resort to parking on the grass around the riverfront park. Beware--cars have been known to get stuck in the mud.... Shuttles Entertainment: Riverfest offers plenty of entertainment for those of all ages to enjoy:
