By , About.com Guide

KC's Downtown Makeover:

Unless you've been living under a rock lately, you've probably noticed that downtown is really changing. With the urban re-renewal, we've got everything from the new Sprint Center and the KCP&L Entertainment District to First Friday's, cool stores and great restaurants. You might have also noticed the transformation of old, un-used buildings into some of the coolest lofts, condo's and living spaces this city has ever seen. According to the downtown council, there are presently 16,000+ urbanites living downtown--so head to the Urban Tour and see first hand what those castles in the sky look like on the inside!

Urban Tour:

If you're interested in Urban Living or just want to see exactly what those cool lofts are all about, head to the Urban Tour May 2nd and 3rd. It's there that you'll be able to see over 30 properties and downtown attractions which will include everything from lived in lofts and condos to showhomes and rent.
