Strotherfest 2009:
If you didn't already know, Kansas City was named one of the top festival cities in the country because we have so many great festivals to attend. 2007 marked the 1st Annual Strotherfest-- and 2009 promises to be a fun filled family event in Lee's Summit once again.
Fun Fact: Strotherfest gets it's name due to the fact that Lee's Summit was originally founded as 'The Town of Strother'--which was of course later changed to Lee's Summit in late 1868.
Strotherfest Location:
Strotherfest changed locations in 2009 and will be held at Paradise Park in Lee's Summit. (1021 NE Colbern Road,Lee's Summit, MO 64086, (816) 246-5224).
Strotherfest Times and Ticket Info:
When: Friday and Saturday, July 31st and August 1st. {br}Gates open at 9:30am.
Basic tickets to the festival are $5. You can also by a $20 'unlimited access' pass which will give you unlimited turns on all of Paradise Park's non-coin operated attractions (ie mini-golf, go karts, rock wall, etc.).2009 Strotherfest Schedule:
