StrotherfestStrotherfest 2007: If you didn't already know, Kansas City was named one of the top festival cities in the country because we have so many great festivals to attend. 2007 marks the 1st Annual Strotherfest--which promises to be a fun filled family event in Lee's Summit. Fun Fact: Strotherfest gets it's name due to the fact that Lee's Summit was originally founded as 'The Town of Strother'--which was of course later changed to Lee's Summit in late 1868. Strotherfest Location: Strotherfest will be held on the grounds of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church 1800 SW 150 Highway Lees Summit, Missouri 64082 Strotherfest Times and Ticket Info: When: Saturday, July 21, Noon-midnight Sunday, July 22, Noon-10pm Tickets and Parking are both FREE Additional Information: Strotherfest features live music with top acts like The Elders, Liverpool (a great Beatles Cover Band), and The Abel Ramirez Big Band featuring Rudy Amato, and many more....
