    Kansas City's 41st Annual St. Patrick's Day parade celebration makes its mark as one of the largest and most notable parade celebrations of all things Irish in the United States. The parade has moved from the streets of downtown to midtown--with the whole parade ending in Westport.

  • Snake Saturday

    What started out as a wee celebration in the parking lot of a North Kansas City hotel, the Snake Saturday Parade has grown to become on of the Northland's favorite yearly events.

    With their amazing floats, high school bands, and luck of the Irish, the Snake Saturday Parade organizers even donate the parade proceeds to local non-profits. This family friendly celebration all happens on Snake Saturday (the Saturday before St. Patricks Day). See Our Snake Saturday Guide

  • 33rd Brookside St. Patrick's Warm-up Parade

    An annual tradition of so many Kansas Citians, the annual Brookside St. Patrick's Warm-Up parade occurs on the Saturday before St. Patrick's Day. A little more tame and family friendly than its big city counterpart, the Brookside Warm-Up Parade kicks off the big day with floats, leprechauns o' plenty and a sea of green rolling throughout the Brookside neighborhood. This years theme is ‘Lucky 13’ with Grand Marshall Carl DiCapo.

  • Big 12 Men's Basketball Championship

    The Big 12 Men's Basketball Championship will once again take over Kansas City’s Sprint Center (1407 Grand Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64106) on March 13-16, 2013. See Our Big 12 Championship Guide

  • Big 12 Fan Fest:

    There will be plenty of fun to be had in and around the Sprint Center, especially at the Power and Light District. The P&L will have everything from watch parties and team rallies to music, giveaways, games and much, much more. Note: You must be 21+ after 9pm.

    The Big 12 Fan Fest will be held on Grand Boulevard with interactive thngs to do.

  • 2013 NAIA Division I Men's National Basketball Championship

    The NAIA’s basketball tourney has become the longest running basketball tournament in the country, and celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2012. This year the 2013 NAIA Division I Men’s National Basketball Championship will be held March 13th-19th at Municipal Auditorium, 301 W 13th St., Kansas City, MO 64105

    Tickets are $5-$18 and may be purchased at the Muni box office or via ticketmaster.
