The Kansas City Royals celebrate their 40th anniversary in 2009, and fans will enjoy the newly revamped 'K' as well. Santa-Cali-Gon Days is a long standing Labor Day weekend tradition on the Historic Square in Independence, Missouri (112 W. Lexington). Over a quarter million folks head to the festival which lasts Friday-Monday. It's got a great line up of entertainment, and admission is FREE.
