'Fortune Magazine' compiles its yearly 'Top 100 Best Places to Work' list by surveying employees that work at some of the nation's best organizations. 400 randomly selected employees are asked about things such as attitudes toward management, job satisfaction, and camaraderie. Other questions such as feelings about internal communications, opportunities, compensation practices, diversity programs, and work-life balance are all taken into consideration and the rankings are based on survey outcomes.
