Sometimes school programs are canceled, sometimes grandparents or family members have to work too.
What's a parent to do?
The Kansas City Zoo announces their 'It's a Snow Day' program, in which parents (both working and not) may drop off their children at the Zoo for a day filled with fun and learning at their Safari Day Camp.
According to the Zoo, 'This one day camp is fast paced full of hands on activities. If your child can acclimate easily to various activities then this is the day camp for them.'
Lunch is provided and please make sure your children are dressed for the weather.

Time: 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Date: Any school holiday, snow day, or teacher in service day.
Important note: We are following the KCMO school district snow days.
(Christmas & Spring break excluded)
Cost: $40 FOTZ Members ($45 for Non-FOTZ members).
Grades: K-6th
