1. Rosati's Pizza
Rosati's pizza originated in Chicago in 1895 when Fred Rosati opened his first restaurant, and the rest is history. With great ingredients, amazing sauce and cheeses that hail from Wisconsin--Rosati's Pizza is About Kansas City's top pick for pizza in the KC Metro. Rosati's crust is no doubt our fave and you can't go wrong with their famed double-dough or Chicago style deep dish.About KC Faves: Fabulous Four (sausage, mushroom, onion and green peppers) or their Chicken Alfredo

3. Pizza Bella
Following his extremely successful and equally delicious 1924 Main and Souperman restaurants, Rob Dalzell introduces his newest concept, the incredible Pizza Bella. If you've ever sampled Dalzell's cuisine, you know it's high on flavor and even bigger on mouth watering ingredients. The wood fired pie at Pizza Bella is truly amazing, and they serve up some serious wine that compliments the pizza oh-so-perfectly. It reminds us of being in Italy. PB is open all week--maybe other's downtown spots wil will follow.About KC's Top Picks:

Waldo Pizza is practically a neighborhood institution, and you'll usually see it packed with neighborhood folks eating their wonderful pizza. You also can't beat Waldo's lunchtime pizza buffet from 11-2, it's all you can eat for $6.49. As of late, Waldo Pizza offers gluten-free and vegan items which I don't think you can find many other places in KC.About KC Faves: St. Louis Thin Crust and the Waldo combo with hamburger, pork sausage, onions, and the works.

If you're looking for a great pizza joint with great pizza, you can't go wrong with the Stonewall Inn. There is nothing like enjoying one of their New York Style thin crust slices with a bottle of beer on their patio. Connected to the Stonewall Restaurant, the Stonewall Inn is actually a converted barn. It's nothing fancy and the wait staff won't wait on you hand and foot, but you won't be disappointed with their za, I promise!Location: 10242 Pflumm, Shawnee, 66215
