Village West began as home to Nebraska Furniture Mart, Cabela's and the Kansas Speedway-- but with the additon of the Legends it has transformed into a Kansas City shopping, dining and entertaining destination. If you’ve taken a drive on through Wyandotte County lately, you’ve seen that fields have magically turned into a shopping paradise—the Legend’s at Village West is now a 750,000 square-foot outdoor retailing district with stores and restaurants you won’t find many places in the Midwest.
It Starts at the Smoke Stack :
The Legends at Village West shopping district takes on the feel of a modern day town with the center of it all marked with a huge smokestack tower. The architecture is unique in nature, but you may notice a close resemblance to many things both near and dear to Kansas City and its surrounding areas. It’s Dodge City Wild West meets Westport in a hip, trendy sort of way.
Location and Directions:

Regular Shopping Hours are Monday-Saturday, 10 am to 9 pm, and Sunday 11 am to 6 pm.*Please note that individual store and restaurant hours may vary and holiday shopping hours may be extended.
