Crown Center Ice Terrace
The Crown Center Ice Terrace has been around for as long as I can remember and has a bit of nostalgia for most who grew up in Kansas City. The terrace opens during the first of November and is an outdoor thrill throughout the winter months that overlooks the Mayor's Christmas Tree. The rink is open November through March.
November, December, January Hours: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Sunday-Thursday; 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., Friday-Saturday.

Admission: $6, free 60+ and 5 and under.
Skate rental is $3, or skaters may bring their own. Guide Tip: Skate for FREE from 6-9am.
The Ice at Park Place
117th and Nall, Leawood
The Ice at Park Place is Johnson County's only outdoor ice skating rink and announced its grand opening in 2008.
Admission is $6 and children under 5 skate free Mon-Fri 11am-3pm, excluding holidays. Skate rental is $3. Rink times vary, check their website or call 913-663-2070 for info.
