Thank you for celebrating one of KC's best unknown free fun things to do. Please mention the number of markets and their locations. They are small, but offer products you can't find at the big markets. Grand Court, Bad Seed, Lee's Summit, Merriam, Olathe, Spring Hill, Grandview, Belton, 39th Street, Harrisonville, Mission Farms, Louisburg, Raytown, Lenexa,and Lawrence just to name a few. I am not sure all of these have held on, and I am sure there are more I have forgotten or don't know about. Some of these are 15 minutes from KC, but just like we enjoy the most grocery stores per capita in this region, I suspect the same is true of Farmers Markets. I will see you at the market.
